Where are you originally from?  Macon Georgia

What brought you to the Roaring Fork Valley and how long have you been here?  I moved here to be a ski bum after college for a year.

What was your most interesting or unusual job?  Working at RFTA certainly qualifies as Unusual.

Why did you apply to be in RFL?  I had never been educated or practiced being a leader, and wanted to learn some best practices.  Also, I have called the RFV my home now for a combined 10 years, and wanted to get to know other emerging leaders in the valley for both professional and social reasons.

What is your definition of success?  Feeling fulfilled at work and home life, while continuing to take on greater challenges.

What are you most proud of in the last year?  Raising two young children, all while continuing to enjoy my life and outdoor pursuits.

What do regret not doing in the last year?  Having the opportunity to spend more time with friends.

What’s something you want to do in the next year that you’ve never done before?  Raft down the Middle Fork of the Salmon in Idaho.

Anything you would like to share so far about your RFL experience?  I am getting to know myself better than I ever thought.

What’s the best advice you ever heard?  Don’t dwell on the past, live life for now with an eye towards the future.
