A leader in the field of experiential education, he has been on the forefront of awakening human consciousness in the mainstream for the last 20 years.  Greg has been the opening and closing facilitator for RFL for the last 23 years.

    Andrea Palm-Porter

    Andrea’s career trajectory is impressive with over 25 years’ experience driving strategic growth and project management through strong business leadership and relationships in multi-million dollar organization. She attended the University of Eau Claire in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing. She is known for strategic business development, developing relationships, facilitation, product development, project management and execution. She is also a graduate and former board member of the Vail Leadership Institute, and an American Leadership Fellow. Palm-Porter is passionate about leadership and empowering people to get involved in their communities. She holds a certification and is a speaker on Emotional Intelligence.

    Ron Gager

    Since 1987, Ron has led Gager & Associates, a Boulder, Colorado consulting group specializing in organizational development, quality process implementation and project management. Among other assignments, he has served as Manager of Organizational Effectiveness for Xerox Information Products Division, Director of Organizational Development for Stearns-Roger, the engineering & construction arm of Air Products & Chemicals, and as Program Director for the Colorado Outward Bound School. Ron was part of a consulting team assembled in the late 1980s by Jack Welch (GE CEO) to help GE leaders create a more responsive and nimble corporate culture, built on a foundation of employee engagement. During his 15+ years consulting to GE, he was instrumental in the development of the well-known WorkOut process and the equally acclaimed Change Acceleration Toolkit. Other Gager & Associates’ clients include: Purdue Pharma L.P., Coors Brewery, Morgan Stanley, NiSource, Entergy, Noodles & Company, Sears Merchandise Group, United Artists, NASA, Bristol-Myers Squibb, United Technologies, StorageTek, and Kellogg Cereals.

  • Dr. Heidi Brinkman
    Dr. Heidi Brinkman

    Dr. Heidi Brinkman is President of BCI, a management consulting firm specializing in individual, team and organizational effectiveness. She is former Academic Director of Leadership Programs for The Institute of Executive and Professional Development, Daniels College of Business. Heidi was a Clinical Professor/Lecturer in the department of management at Daniels for 15 years and continues her affiliation as an adjunct professor. Her work centers on research, assessment, training, coaching and development with subject matter expertise in interpersonal and organizational communication, conflict resolution, leadership and team building. Much of Heidi’s work involves customized training and interventions. Some of Heidi’s focus courses include: influencing without authority, leveraging the power of emotional intelligence (certified in EQ-i 2.0 and EQ360), building high performing teams, a meeting of the minds (certified in Emergenetics), turning conflict into creative abrasion (learning the art of appreciative inquiry), and building high performing teams and leaders.

    Mary Ann Looby

    Mary Ann Looby is Principal of People Dynamics, a consulting firm established in 1998, specializing in Personal and Professional Development ( Clients have benefited from her solid understanding of people development, management and leadership. She has consulted with industry in the financial services, telecommunications, technical, healthcare, mining, government and non-profit sectors. Mary Ann serves as a college counselor and adjunct faculty at Colorado Mountain College in Summit County. She teaches a variety of management courses and career development workshops. Mary Ann was a founder of Leadership Summit, and served as facilitator and trainer from 2004-2011. Mary Ann earned her master degrees from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work and Graduate School of Business Administration. Her bachelor’s degree in psychology, cum laude, is from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

    Michelle Lefebvre

    A graduate of RFL Class of 2008, Michelle currently teaches Public Speaking & Interpersonal Communication at CMC as an adjunct instructor, which she have been doing for 6 years. She also trains faculty throughout the 11 CMC campuses through the Office of Innovations. Michelle runs a coaching business as she enjoys the collaborative efforts of working with students and faculty. Michelle has a Masters in Communication from the University of Denver with a certificate in Training and Instructional Design. Certified gerontologist & mediator and Certified professional Coach & Energy Leadership Master Practitioner. Michelle had the honor of presenting at the White House alongside First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton and Secretary of Health and Human Services, Donna Shalala on behalf of the United States Peace Corps. Michelle has also been awarded Adjunct Faculty of the Year 2008-2009, from Colorado Mountain College.

  • Dr. Lisa Keranen
    Dr. Lisa Keranen

    Dr. Lisa Keranen is the Director of Graduate Studies at the CU Denver Department of Communications, and an affiliate of the Arts and Humanities in Health Care Program at the Anschutz Medical Campus. Her community work has been based largely in health care settings, where she has served on internal medical ethics boards and as an advisor to community health strategic communication teams. As an award-winning teacher and CU President’s Teaching Scholar, she is working to help bring better visual messaging tools to the CU community and is currently teaching a graduate seminar on “Digital Health Narratives,” wherein students, instead of writing traditional essays, use narrative to create more powerful digital messaging.

  • Dr. Stephen J. Hartnett
    Dr. Stephen J. Hartnett

    Dr. Stephen J. Hartnett is the Chair of the Department of Communication at CU Denver, where he has spent the past seven years building a culture of pedagogical, scholarly, and service excellence. In terms of his work as a community activist, Hartnett has spent the past 25 years teaching creative writing, public speaking, and U.S. History in jails and prisons in Indiana, Illinois, California, Michigan, Texas, and Colorado. To link that work inside prisons to community change, he has lectured, led workshops, run panels, testified before various government agencies, and appeared in the media speaking about prison, prison education, and social change in 28 states.
