Mastering Leadership
MASTERING LEADERSHIPBeing a Leader and the Effective Exercise of Leadership Brought to you by Roaring Fork Leadership Presented by Coriolis Consulting Group (Jonathan Clark) A VERY DIFFERENT KIND OF LEADERSHIP COURSE Mastering Leadership introduces a new kind of leadership course, one that deals with the essential nature of leadership. This course provides visionary leaders with direct access to the effective exercise of leadership at any time, under any circumstance. This course is about being a leader and the effective exercise of leadership. This course delivers direct access to leading any vision into the future powerfully and effectively. WHO YOU ARE IS HOW YOU LEAD How You Are Being Shapes the Way You Act. If you are being confused, you are likely to act confused. If you are being angry, you are likely to act in anger. If you are being confident, you are likely to act with confidence. If you are not being a leader, and you try to act like a leader, you are likely to fail. That's called pretending to be a leader. If you are being a leader, you will act as a leader. Effective leadership does not come from mere knowledge about what leaders do, or the characteristics or styles of noteworthy leaders, and certainly not from merely being in a leadership position, or position of authority. Leadership cannot be taught, emulated or applied from a prescribed set of actions. It does not come from trying to remember and follow the steps, tips or techniques from books on leadership. No amount of memorizing will leave you being an effective leader, no matter what material you memorize. When you are being a leader, leadership naturally occurs. "After years of studying leaders and their traits, I believethat leadership begins and ends with authenticity."~ Bill George, former Medtronics CEO, Harvard Business School Professor of Leadership Seminar Logistics: Pre-requisite for attendance: You must have attended 'Mastering the Future' prior to attending this course.
