This board makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners regarding the allocation of the dedicated human services and community non-profit (Healthy Community) fund. This committee makes reconmmendations to the Board of County Commissioners for the distribution of the dedicated mill levy tax. Terms are 3 years. Up to two youth members are encouraged to serve on this board. There is usually one meeting in the fall to review applications. The full committee meets over two or more evenings to review proposals, evaluate funding and finalize recommendations for the Board of County Commissioners.
