We would all prefer to attend meetings that foster teamwork and generate results.  However, most people describe meetings as ‘frustrating’ and ‘a waste of time.’  And yet, meetings and teams are crucial to getting things done.  Problems today are more complex and require multiple stakeholders to resolve them.  One key element to generating dynamic results through teams is addressing conflict.  There is both an art and science to solving problems and implementing strategies while building relationships among team members.

RFL and AYPA have partnered to bring you an evening discussion with Carl Larson, an expert in team building through collaboration. Carl has co-authored seven books on collaboration, and on March 4th, from 5:00-8:00 pm, at the Mountain Chalet in Aspen, he will share an exercise on how to best surface and deal with conflict.  No matter which role you find yourself in – team leader or team member – you will gain access to the possibility to reduce conflict for yourself and fellow team members, and turn multiple stakeholders into cohesive teams.
